GreenAxle Solutions is a privately held process improvement consulting firm helping companies scale for future growth. We assist clients in aligning people, processes, information, and tools/technology to deliver business excellence.
Our team of seasoned business analysts works with companies in transition. We guide firms assimilating a new management team, work with companies receiving new funding or preparing for significant growth, or counsel companies facing increased competition or regulation.

Mark Friedman, Founder and CEO
Mark Friedman has led the GreenAxle team to build the enterprise around their collective and extensive expertise in the business and systems development lifecycle. This includes operations/ IT strategy, project management, business process analysis, enterprise systems and software development, deployment and training. As a company founder, he is particularly passionate about taming the growing complexity that comes with rapidly evolving technologies, and helping people succeed as a team, stay healthy, and grow professionally.
Prior to GreenAxle, Mr. Friedman was a senior consultant at Advanced Database Designs, LLC where he managed a number of projects for a large wind company, a local water district, and for a local air quality management district. As a Director at Primitive Logic, Inc. he helped create and lead their Business Architecture consulting practice through successful client projects including a fortune 50 pharmaceutical company and a public real estate firm.
In 2004, Mr. Friedman co-founded the popular East Bay Innovation Group’s "Software Development Best Practices SIG." His leadership and coaching has resulted in an entire community of software professionals that better understand the human factors that help and hinder their business process, systems, and software development projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Math from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
Pam Creason, Founder and Senior Consultant
Pam Creason is responsible for services delivery. Prior to Greenaxle, she held various finance and IT positions at companies such as Safeway, Target Corporation, and Mervyn's. At Target Corporation, she led cross-functional user groups to redefine their business processes during development of new applications using leading edge technologies. After Target Corporation’s sale of Mervyn's, Ms. Creason successfully led business teams to create new processes and implement ERP systems to support the replacement of all existing IT systems and infrastructure within an 18 month period. During this time, she contributed to building the company’s governance policies and procedures.
In 2008, Ms. Creason joined Mr. Friedman at Advanced Database Designs, LLC on a large wind farm systems development project where she successfully led users from multiple business sites to collaborate and design processes to meet diverse business requirements.
Ms. Creason is dedicated to building trusted relationships with her user groups and is a relentless advocate of using IT to exploit business opportunities. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from San Francisco State University and is a California licensed CPA.
Cal Sloan, COO
Cal Sloan joined GreenAxle in June 2011 as Chief Operating Officer and member of the Board of Directors. He is responsible for sales and service delivery. Prior to joining GreenAxle, Mr. Sloan was in charge of professional services for major software companies including Mercury (purchased by Hewlett Packard), Attensity Software, and Oracle Corporation. He has extensive consulting experience with large systems integrators KPMG Consulting, where he was a partner, and Arthur Andersen. He has a demonstrated record of success leading teams in high growth and turnaround conditions. Mr. Sloan served as VP of Operations and Customer Service at Qwest Cyber Solutions, an early Applications Services Provider, and has held senior level positions in other start-up/early stage companies. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
